Samamtha Kern aka Sassmouth returns from her new home in London for her third HEMF appearance. Sam’s DJ sets reflect her love of dialectics - a tribute to her early explorations into musical yin and yang, string quartets and punk bands. Stripped down sounds mutate into jacking funky house, punchy techno, and beautiful sub bass lines and melodies. Sam plays a variety of underground and club events throughout the world and hosts a friendly and supportive online home for the electronic dance music community on her website naughtybadfun.org.
Lee Mayjahs? loves to move people. His deep, techy, electro, funky, soulful mix grabs you down deep and penetrates your soul while tickling the cerebral recesses of your psyche. Lee creates a vibe that elevates the mind and spirit. He is one of the original founders of “The Philadelphia Experiment” (PEX) and recently aligned himself with critically acclaimed eclectic electronic music label Playloop Records. Lee is currently working in the studio with Smitty, Ross D, King Britt and Playloop Honcho Justin Paul.
Eric Boltz aka Meeshu first record was a 45 with Rick James’s “Superfreak” on one side and Lipps Inc.’s “Funkytown” on the other. The rest is history. Eric currently makes his home on Kauai where he produces a regular Sunday internet radio show called Soul Spa live w/Dj Meeshu on bsp.org.

Kona resident DJ Brian Lamb aka Unit:E resonates the spirit of Aloha and universal love through his passion for tech house. Spreading his good vibes on the dance floor and teaching DJ fundamentals to Big Island youth is his way of bringing more harmony and compassion into our world.

Annabelle sends her sonic yumminess accross the HEMF dance floor. She keeps pushing bounderies to create magical journeys with her sets at Ecstatic Dance and The Groove Temple.
M@thew Mercury brings an intelligent fresh sound to the Big Island Love community. He is crafting beautiful programs at Ecstatic Dance and a number of parties and is excited about his second HEMF appearence.
Music became Gianna Hardt’s religion long before her teenage years. Her musical tastes were formed from Chicago House, Hip-Hop, Classic Rock, Pop, Italian and Latin Music. Her formal musical training combined with her eclectic tastes and rich cultural background result in the most gratifying musical journeys. Gianna founded Forté Productions, a Chicago-based event production company that dedicates itself to cultivating unforgettable, cutting-edge underground events.

Tai Blackford is a part of the Big Island dance music scene since it's early Full Moon days. His style has fused into a mix of mashed up hip hop, deep seductive house, breakbeats, smooth rolling dub step, smashing 80's classics, electro, dnb, and world funk.

Merkaba is the creative vision of Trevor Arnholt from Maui who brings his visual magic to HEMF for the sixth year. Trevor is the co-creator of the Chicago Undershorts Film Festival which features independent film, music and performance art of all sorts.

A Merkaba is a divine light vehicle that can connect one to higher realms of consciousness, enable one to time travel and experience great harmony of the spirit and body. The Merkaba is made up of two polar electromagnetic fields in the shape of opposing, counter rotating star-tetrahedrons. Every living creature has a Merkaba field of energy around it. Once aware if this, the possibilities are endless….

Jim Abrams's visual project NIMH is elevating dance floors from New York City to San Francisco and Hawaii with his unique style of video compositions.
Lenka Chludova aka VJ Lenkadu is a video installation artist from the Czech Republic. She's been illuminating dance floors at PEX, Burningman and a number of events.
POPS has created CGI animations for a number of Big Island events.
